Bri & Alex’s February wedding at the Halcyon Hotel Cherry Creek in Denver, Colorado kicked off my 2019 wedding season!

They decided on having a small, intimate wedding ceremony with their closest friends and family. Bri got ready with her bridesmaids in one of the hotel rooms. When it was time for their first look snowing was starting to fall. Alex was set-up on the outdoor patio for the first look. You can see the snow falling on them during those photos. Their ceremony was for family only. After the ceremony they opened up cocktail hour and dancing for the rest of their guests. Guests enjoyed a sushi bar and drinks while mingling and dancing. Besides toasts and first dances, Alex and Bri spent the rest of their wedding evening chatting with friends and family! I loved how they made their reception exactly as they wanted it and didn’t add wedding events that didn’t feel right or fitting to them.

The Halcyon Hotel Cherry Creek was an amazing venue to work with and has several great spots for photo opportunities. It’s a great urban wedding venue in Denver. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding or couple to start off my 2019 season as a Denver wedding photographer!
