Colorado Springs Wedding Photographer

Jamie & Donivan had a small, Intimate Backyard Wedding Colorado Springs in September. These two actually live in Detroit, Michigan, but had their wedding at Jamie’s mom’s house outside of Colorado Springs. Earlier in the year I met them for an engagement session  at Garden of the Gods. Once I spent time with them I knew their wedding would be a blast! J & D were truly an easy and fun-loving couple to work with!

They invited only their closest family and friends. Some traveled from across the U.S. One of the coolest parts of their wedding is that they hired a private chef to prepare the food for their appetizers and their dinner. All the food was incredible!  They also had a band come to Colorado to play during their ceremony and for reception. They were awesome!

This day ended up being super windy, and once the sun set it got frigid cold. So after dinner everyone migrated inside for the rest of the evening. While inside they did their cake cutting, toasts, dancing, and hung out with their family and friends. The evening ended with friends and family giving toasts to J & D and telling stories about times with the couple.  I loved how intimate their wedding felt and you could tell everyone present truly loved and cared for Jamie & Donivan! So grateful to have been in charge of capturing their wedding day!
