In June I met up with Piper and Landon for their Cedar City Engagement photos in the mountains! The summer months in the mountains are my favorite! Everything is green and vibrant again!
These two met in college in Iowa and they started out as friends. Eventually, they started dating and moved to Cedar City, UT, two years ago. They love it here and often spend their weekends exploring Southern Utah off-roading in their Jeep! Landon proposed while they were off-roading to Toquerville Falls with their family.
Engagement Photos in Cedar City Utah
We started their engagement photos at this mountain location about 20 minutes up the road from Cedar City. This is where we did the majority of their photos. Halfway through their session, they did an outfit change. I always love when couples bring a second outfit as long as we booked a 1 hour+ session. This adds more variety to your gallery and you might love one look over the other!
To end their session we stopped at a trailhead along the road back into Cedar City with a red rock background. It was super windy there, so we took some quick photos and called it a night!

- Red Hollow Trailhead or Thunderbird Gardens
- Any mountain spots up the road leading to Cedar Breaks
If you’re up for a drive Zion National Park is pretty hard to beat when it comes to photo locations! St. George also has incredible options like this session at Snow Canyon!
