This Barn at Raccoon Creek Wedding in Denver took place on a rainy September day. The Barn at Raccoon Creek is the perfect combination of a golf course and red barn wedding venue!
Kat and Luke went to the same high school, but didn’t end up connecting until after college. They went on a few dates and quickly fell in love. Luke proposed two years later at Denver’s Union Station. Their wedding day ended up being close to their three year anniversary. Kat and Luke are both obsessed with their pets and included their dog Reggie on their wedding day (you’ll see photos below)! Plus, they named their signature cocktails after Reggie and Leo, their cat.
There were chances of rain on their wedding day and it rained throughout their time getting ready and during their first look. As time for the ceremony neared, it was still raining. Kat’s main priority was to dance the night away outdoors, so we moved the ceremony inside instead to keep the day moving. Right after the ceremony the sun came out and we had the most beautiful sunlight for wedding party, family, and husband and wife photos. The rest of the night they danced the night away with friends and family outside on the dance floor!
