For this Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Session, Bear Lake and Moraine Park were our go-to spots. Zack & Kelsey got engaged at Bear Lake last summer, so that made Rocky Mountain National Park a memorable location choice for their engagement session.
Miss Lou is Zack and Kelsey’s sweet dog, and they knew they wanted photos with her. We met at a dog friendly location outside RMNP in Estes Park. RMNP has rules regarding dogs so be sure to check before you go! After photos at our first location, Zack and Kelsey dropped off Miss Lou with a friend. Then we headed into Rocky Mountain National Park for the rest of the session. We started at Bear Lake. We walked around the path at Bear Lake. They reminisced about the day Zack surprised Kelsey by proposing. To finish up their engagement session we stopped at Moraine Park. The lighting and backdrop of mountains at Moraine Park was worth it!
Zack and Kelsey met in college in Iowa at their work study job. They’ve been together over 6 years. So far their plans to get married next May in their home state is on track. Thankfully COVID-19 hasn’t forced them to make any changes.
I like to ask couples what some of their favorites things about their relationship is. Kelsey and Zack said: “A major component of our relationship is trust, and still maintaining individuality while being partners. We both are very independent and have individual likes/dislikes. Zack loves to be active and outdoors, where Kelsey tends to enjoy patio drinking more. We also are each other’s best friends, which is more important than anything!”
