This Colorado wedding in Fort Collins is proof that sometimes things work out even better than you originally planned. When Jackie & Levi’s original wedding venue had to implement restrictions, they decided to move their wedding to property of Levi’s family in Fort Collins.

Cloud9 Weddings in Denver helped Jackie & Levi create the wedding of their dreams, despite all the changes they had to make. They had an outdoor ceremony and a tented reception. The bridesmaids wore dusty blue dresses and there were hints of dusty blue and gold throughout their decor. A mariachi band, Mariachi Los Viajeros de Denver, played as guests entered. The Mariachi band continued to play after the ceremony as guests enjoyed cocktail hour.

Have you heard of the recently popular “Flower Man” or “Flower Dude”? Jackie and Levi had a “Flower Man” who strutted down the aisle. He tossed confetti on guests as he made his way down. During Jackie & Levi’s walk down the aisle, “Flower Man” threw confetti on them which created colorful aisle exit photos!

Any Schitt’s Creek fans? You will love this. For their first dance they danced to “Simply the Best” sung by Patrick to David in the T.V. Show. My Schitt’s Creek heart was so full watching Jackie & Levi dance to that song.

Planning a wedding in 2020 has meant a lot of changes and disappointment in various forms.  Jackie & Levi were surprised during their reception by a video put together of guests who weren’t able to attend. Friends and family sent a short video saying hi and wishing well to the just married couple.

Prior to their wedding, I did an engagement session with Jackie and Levi. We first did photos in their new home with their dogs. They also made chocolate chip cookie dough during their in-home photos! After we headed to Lost Gulch near Boulder to do outdoor photos. Their engagement photos are still one of my favorite sessions to look back on.
